The stainless steel crimped mesh need to crimp the warp wire and the weft wire before put it into the weaving machine. The pre-crimped action can make the wrap wire and the weft wire tide to each other closely. Because this process can restrict the random movement of the wire and ensure an accurate and consistent opening size of the wire mesh. There are three major crimped mesh:the double crimp, the lock crimp, the intermediate crimp.
Lock crimp is one of the most solid pattern for all heavy duty screens, however this is under the circumstance, which the rough screening and the larger pore size is acceptable. Lock crimped wore mesh locks each wire in place so that a uniform opening is maintained.
The intermediate crimp are the enhanced product of the basic pre-crimp weave. Both the warp wire and the weft wire will be crimped with extra crimped or the corrugation between points of intersection. This technique is usually required when weaving large openings with fine wires. Inter-crimping assures the proper locking of the warp and weft wires and adds rigidity and accuracy.
The crimped mesh are usually made of the 304 SS, 316SS, low carbon steel, high carbon steel and etc,.It can be used as the mining wire mesh , construction, chemical industry, fertilizer industries, and decoration.
